Frank Bonsal III

For 25+ years, I have served as teacher, coach, mentor and investor of people and teams, entrepreneurs and enterprises. I am the first Director of Entrepreneurship at Towson University, a co-founder of EdTech Maryland and a principal of New Markets Venture Partners. I mentor or advise at a few East Coast accelerators and incubators; you keep turning over stones, as some have a lucky stripe.

Prior to all-in entrepreneurship, I was a middle and high school teacher and coach, drawn to interdisciplinary and project-based learning, an early adopter of one-to-one. My signature methodology was and remains as 'practice coach' -- whether on the field, in the classroom or in the boardroom.

Baltimore born, raised on a Maryland horse farm, I attained credentials from New Hampshire and Tennessee academic institutions and settled in Greater Baltimore a decade ago. I have volunteer board service with several Mid-Atlantic nonprofits and am married with three children.
